Patricia brings to MECPATHS, a professional background in leadership and project development and has a keen interest in responding to issues of injustice, both globally and locally. Patricia’s professional background in Education supports the delivery of learning and awareness on Human Trafficking to the wider population in Ireland and her presentation and communication skills are a personal strength. Patricia O’ Donovan rejoined MECPATHS in September 2019, following a sabbatical. During her sabbatical, Patricia undertook a learning opportunity at the United Nations, New York, where her ongoing professional development and understanding of human trafficking was progressed. She has volunteered her skill-sets to support children in communities in India and Romania and has worked at Second and University levels in Ireland in a student-outreach capacity which she particularly enjoyed, holding a passion for working alongside youth communities. Patricia studied music and theology at Maynooth University and is a qualified counsellor.
